About CLOVE

CLOVE'S Mission Statement
The Council of Local Organizations for Volunteer Enhancement serves the greater Mankato area. Its members are professionals representing community nonprofit organizations that provide volunteer opportunities for the community's population. The purpose of the organization is to provide support and encouragement of volunteerism in the greater Mankato area, provide general education and awareness of volunteerism to the community and act as a network of coordinators and leaders of volunteer programs.

What is CLOVE?
CLOVE is the acronym for the Council of Local Organizations for Volunteer Enhancement. Since 1985 CLOVE has been providing support and encouragement of volunteerism in the greater Mankato area as well as education and awareness of volunteerism to the community and acting as a network of coordinators and leaders of volunteer programs.

Working Together…
Becoming a member of CLOVE is a great way to meet other volunteer professionals in the many volunteer organizations in the area. Networking is a great asset and a great way to learn and share knowledge. Members enjoy a chance to meet with other group leaders on a personal level and create lasting relationships which benefit all involved.
